Sfogliatelle, also commonly called “clamshells” or “lobster tails” because of their shape, are delicate, crackling pastries created by hand-shaping almost-transparently thin discs of laminated dough outwards. Each layer is softly pushed apart just enough to create it’s signature fanned pattern, shaped into a cone, and filled with a from-scratch creamy ricotta and semolina mix with candied citrus peel. The end result is a crispy-on-the-outside, creamy-on-the-inside showstopper with notes of cinnamon and candied citrus doused in powdered sugar.
This petite set features nine smaller sfogliatelle to grace your holiday table, perfect for small bites and sharing. These are about half the size of our regular sfogliatelle.

Storing your pastry:
Your sfogliatelle are baked and packaged the same day you pick them up! You can keep them at room temperature for up to two days; then keep refrigerated. If you wish to serve your sfogliatelle warm, first let come to room temperature, then place in the oven at 350* for five minutes or until warmed through.
