Deeply rooted in Neapolitan tradition, the first written recipe for zeppole dates back to 1837. Our zeppole are so well-loved by Bisnonna fans that we couldn't just make them one day a year!
Our festive take on our best-selling Zeppole di San Giuseppe is fit for a crowd. We start with shaping light, airy choux rings into a decorative wreath, filled with thick swirls of our signature orange pastry cream traditional of a Zeppole di San Giuseppe. For a festive and tasty finale, our showstopping wreath is finished with candied cherries, sweet citrusy orange peel, toasted almonds, and edible gold leaf.
