5 year old me is over the moon

Growing up my guilty favorite of the Italian cookies we'd get for holidays at Nana's was the leaf cookie. I think I was the only one in the family to really love them, because we only got them in assortments and everyone else overlooked them. These leaf cookies are EASILY 2-3 times the size of the ones I'd get in Philly. The cookie itself is both larger in surface area and thicker. Do I like this size better? I honestly don't know. I liked the delicate nature of the ones from the old neighborhood. But my childhood self saw these and started yelling at me that they're SO BIG and I needed to grab one, if not hoard them all.

Also? They're delicious.
