Creamy, sweet, light, and airy: our classic tiramisu features six layers of homemade ladyfingers, egg yolk mascarpone custard, a flourish of vanilla bean chantilly cream and cocoa powder.

Our ladyfingers are soft - not crunchy like big box stores - and the recipe comes from a great-great aunt who first published her savoiardi in a community church cookbook we found in our parent's attic. We meticulously stack these espresso-and-rum soaked cookies in between layers of our house-made mascarpone and egg yolk cream.
