Torta di Mele (TG)

Our take on the signature Italian apple cake, an 8” round cake made with cold-pressed olive oil. With a dense crumb studded with apples, candied orange, lemon zest, and warm spices, this cake slices up thick and rich. To finish, it's topped with a thick swoop of can't-get-enough-of maple cream cheese frosting.

Storing your cake:
Because of the cream cheese frosting, this cake should be kept refrigerated until ready to serve. Cake can be removed from the refrigerator 1 hour - 30 minutes prior to service to come to room temperature.
